In general any type of freezer spacer will dissipate heat quicker on a block, spread stack or chimney spaced load as long as there is significant air movement. The greater the air flow through each layer the faster the product cools or freezes. In QFR zones and recirculating blast cells, many customers using the Maxi spacers have reduced freeze times by 15%.
