MANY RETURNABLE AND COLLAPSIBLE CONTAINERS SHOW A"RETURN RATIO" ATTRIBUTE. WHAT DOES THIS TERM MEAN?

This is an important consideration when trying to calculate the # of containers that can be shipped back collapsed and empty in a closed loop or returnable program. For example if the return ratio is 3:1 for every (1) full container you could fit (3) empty, collapsed containers in that same space.
